Suddenly summer
The weather sucks. I cant' take heat and sunlight. They're a real bummer. I also dislike all the flying (and stinging) insects that come out en masse, after a long (well, it was long in bug years) winter of breeding.
So finals are finally almost right around the corner. I'm lucky enough to have one next week, prior to the official period beginning, so they're more spaced out. Of course it means that week will be hellish, what with all my class projects becoming due as well.
Still, I'm quite pleased by the way it looks: Numerical Analysis- my biggest source for worry on the 5th, giving me Monday through Wednesday to study. Then I get the weekend to read my DBMS and Operating Systems Design textbooks, for tests on the 9th and 11th, respectively. The test on the 9th is an 8pm-11pm deal, which I really hate, because it screws with my studying the next day, but OS is a stupid test* that I don't have to have a clear head to take.
.... and then.... Freedom. Two weeks where I can do nothing at all. Another week to pack all my shit and clean up the place I lived in this year, and in the next week I move out of that dump, and move in to the new one. Also I might go back to classes, if I don't do the smart thing- unregister for summer classes.
Another piece of good news: the Computer Science advisor signed off on transferring my 111 class. That's the first CS class they offer here at dear ol' Rutgers. Maybe, by this time next week, just three weeks shy of becoming a full-fledged senior, I'll finally have declared my major.
Hallelujah*.
* Come to think of it- I wonder when we'll finally get our midterms in OS graded...
** Ten points, if you actually know what that word actually means, and where it's from.
